I got my first Schutt Crystal Bustos bat in Seattle at ASA Nationals. I love it when new equipment comes out and I have a chance to try something new. The bat felt great in my hands. It was a bit heavier than the bat I was currently using. I knew I had to have it.
I’ve been swinging it ever since.
Today was a good day for our team and for me. I went 5 for 5. That was great, but here’s the cool thing. I was able to help a teammate with her swing before the game started and she hit a home run. After the win (19-5) my coach gave me the game ball and gave one to the girl that hit the home run. He said I had a bit to do with her home run as well.
I really did go 5 for 5 though. Check it out, I even made the paper.
